Mumbai: The autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput has raised many eyebrows.
To solve this mystery, India Today reached out to one of the doctors, who had performed his autopsy.
Sushant’s autopsy was reportedly completed in just 90 minutes and his viscera were preserved after examining the body.
Usually, an autopsy in case of unnatural death takes nearly 2-3 hours, as per India Today report. But in Sushant’s case, the doctor said that there is no time limit as such.
Sushant’s postmortem report also mentions ligature marks in column 17. However, the doctor stated that no other injuries were identified.
Besides this, the postmortem was conducted after sundown on behest of the Mumbai Police officials, the report added.
When asked why Disha Salian’s autopsy was done after two days, the Mumbai police officer, who is investigating the case, said that the body was sent for COVID-19 test first. After getting the COVID-19 report after two days, the autopsy was conducted on June 11.
Disha’s vaginal swabs and other swabs have been sent to Forensic Science Laboratories office at Kalina in Mumbai. Police are awaiting the report.
