Mumbai: Claiming that there have been no updates from the CBI into the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe, two friends of the late actor, Ganesh Hiwaker and Ankit Acharya, have threatened to go on a hunger strike to demand justice.
In a video message released on Monday, Ganesh and Ankit said they will go on a three-day hunger strike from October 2, news agency ANI reported.
“We have been demanding justice in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case from the beginning. But there have been no updates from the CBI for the past few days. That is why we are going on a three-day hunger strike,” Ganesh said in the video.
They also said that if they get permission from police, they will stage the hunger strike at either Delhi’s Rajghat or in Mumbai. “If we don’t get a permission for that, we will do a hunger strike in my house,” Ganesh added.
