Sushmita Sen, known to work on her fitness, suffered a heart attack recently!
The actress herself shared the news on social media.
Sushmita took to Instagram on Thursday to inform her “well wishers and loved ones” world that she suffered a heart attack a couple of days back and had to get an angioplasty done.
She reassured followers by saying that a stent is in place and she is doing well.
“ ‘Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona’ (Wise words by my father @sensubir ).. I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back. Angioplasty done. stent in place and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’.. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action. Will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news. That all is well & I am ready for some life again!!! I love you guys beyond!!!! #godisgreat #duggadugga,” Sushmita wrote along with a cheerful picture with her father.
A regular on Instagram, Sushmita was inactive on social media for some time. Five days ago, she wrote a note informing her followers that she was slightly under the weather and asked for “lots of healing energy”.
Good wishes flowed in abundance, and Sushmita thanked the “power of collective prayers.. life-saving indeed.”
