Sambalpur: A patients with suspected symptoms of black fungus passed away at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Burla on Sunday night.
VIMSAR superintendent Lal Mohan Nayak told a local channel that the patient was admitted to the hospital 5-6 ago. “The patient had symptoms of black fungus but clinical examination could not be performed as he was in ICU, ” he added.
