Suspension Of Regular International Passenger Flights Extended Till Feb 28

New Delhi: Suspension of regular international passenger flights to and from India has been extended till February 28, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Thursday.

International flights, however, may be allowed on selected routes by competent authority on a case-to-case basis like before, the DGCA added.

Operation of international all-cargo operations and flights approved by DGCA won’t, however, be affected.

Scheduled international flights to and from India were suspended with effect from March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the government has operated special flights under Vande Bharat Mission since May and under air bubble arrangements with selected countries since July.
