Jeypore: Four Bol Bom devotees sustained fracture in leg and as many were injured after an SUV hit them on Jeypore-Boipariguda road in Koraput district late on Saturday.
The vehicle rammed into them while they were heading towards Gupteswar Temple with ‘holy water’ from Patraput.
The injured were rushed to the Jeypore sub-divisional hospital and later shifted to Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in the district.
Police have started investigation and efforts are on to trace the SUV and its occupants, who fled the spot immediately after the accident.
