Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday morning picked up garbage during his morning stroll on the beach outside the Taj Fisherman’s Cove Resort and Spa in Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu.
Clad in black kurta pyjama, the PM collected strewn plastic and garbage for over 30 minutes, and later tweeted asking citizens to stay fit and keep public places clean.
