Mumbai: After Sonakshi’s husband Zaheer Iqbal, trollers targeted Swara Bhasker’s husband Fahad Ahmad for not participating in Holi festival.
Swara took to her Instagram handle to share photos from her Holi celebration where she and her daughter Rabiya are seen with Gulal on their faces, but Fahad didn’t have any colour on his face.
This sparked curiosity among netizens who started judging Fahad for not celebrating Holi with Swara.
One user wrote, “Why didn’t your husband apply colours?)”, while another commented, “Blind devotee’s question: Why didn’t your husband play Holi?)”.
“@reallyswara your husband not playing colors says a lot,” remarked one person.
“@reallyswara you say it is possible to celebrate the festival without forcing people to participate. If you people (your husband) respect each other’s faiths n really love you they will participate in your festivals happily (you don’t have to ask or force) n you can participate in their festivals. When participation becomes one sided, that’s the issue,” read another comment.
Swara defended her husband by reposting photos from her Holi celebration with a ‘gentle reminder’ for the haters.
She wrote, “Happy Holi ya’ll! Gentle reminder: it’s possible to celebrate our festivals and share joy WITHOUT forcing people to participate.”
On work front, Swara will be next seen in ‘Mrs Falani.’
When Sonakshi shared solo photos from her Holi celebration, Zaheer was also trolled for not celebrating their first Holi after marriage.
