Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to swine flu on Monday, taking the death toll to 48 in the state this season. The death of a 61-year-old man was reported from Apollo Hospital here.
On the other hand, one of the 12 swabs sent for examination to Regional Medical Research Centre was found infected with the viral influenza. The fresh case was detected at AMRI Hospital here. The patient, a 61-year-old woman, is a native of Bargarh.
So far, 1207 samples have been tested and 372 found positive for the H1N1 virus.
