Swine flu toll rises to 16 with two more deaths

Bhubaneswar: Two more persons succumbed to swine flu on Sunday, taking the death toll to 16 in the state this season.
The day also saw 11 more persons testing positive for the H1N1 virus. These cases were reported from SCB Medical College and Hospital (5), Apollo Hospital (2) and one each from Sum Hospital, Kar Clinic and Vivekananda Hospital. The patients belong to Khurda (3), Puri (3), Cuttack (4) and Balasore (1). As many as 30 swabs were tested at Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) this morning, official sources said.
So far, 649 sample have been tested and among them 227 found positive.
