T20I At Cuttack’s Barabati: 5,000 Tickets Sold Online In Hours After Server Crash

Cuttack: Online tickets for the 2nd T20 International between India and South Africa, scheduled to be held at Barabati Stadium on June 12, were sold out in a matter of hours on Wednesday.

The online process to buy tickets for the first international match at Odisha in two-and-a-half years was due to open at 11 am. However, with a massive number of enthusiasts trying to log in, system glitch led to server crash.

After a delay of 2 hours and three-quarters, the Paytm app was up and running. All 5,000 tickets available or online purchase had been purchased by late afternoon.
