Bhubaneswar: After Vigilance raids on the properties of Odisha cadre IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak revealed huge disproportionate assets of the officer, fraudulent activities of his son Akash Kumar Pathak have come under Crime Branch scanner.
In a letter to Amitendra Nath Sinha, IG, CID CB, Tata Motors Ltd has complained that Akash has been claiming himself to be the managing director of Tata Motor, Pune Passenger Division and CEO Designate. The Tata Motors does not have any person by the name of Akash Kumar Pathak serving in this capacity. He is also using fake employee ID card and visiting card by making illegal use of Tata Motors trademark.
Besides, Akash has been using his fake identity and taking large amount of money from unemployed youths for providing them jobs in the company, the company said.
Claiming that such actions amount to criminal conspiracy, cheating, fraud, forgery, impersonation and infringement of trademark and copyrights, Tata Motors requested the IG to trace Akash and take necessary steps to stop his criminal activities.
