Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday assured two Tamil Nadu ministers of all possible help to the victims from their state in the triple train tragedy in Odisha’s Balasore district.
Tamil Nadu’s Youth Welfare and Sports Minister Udaynidhi Stalin and Transport Minister SS Shivsankar met the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence in Bhubaneswar.
Naveen told them that all possible care is being taken for treatment of the injured. The family members of the injured or dead persons are being provided with all help, he reassured.
The two ministers along with a team of officers were in Odisha to take stock of the situation, especially the passengers from Tamil Nadu.
Stalin appreciated the efforts of Odisha government in rescue and treatment of injured people. He thanked the chief minister for the quick response to the tragic accident. He also said Tamil Nadu government was is ready to provide any support that is required.
