Bhubaneswar: A man, who had recently returned from Tamil Nadu, was admitted to the isolation ward of Capital Hospital here on Thursday evening after he exhibited symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The man in his 30s worked in a khadi mill in Tamil Nadu and had returned to his hometown in Nayagarh a few days ago, sources said.
He first consulted at a local hospital, which referred him to Capital Hospital. His blood and swab samples have been sent for testing and the results are awaited.
