Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police are on the hunt for Sangram Aich, who had been absconding after killing his wife Tanuja Aich.
Tanuja was found dead in a vehicle near Sriram Nagar of Samantarapur in Odisha capital city in the early hours of Monday.
Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Pritam Aich, brother of the deceased, said that after killing his sister, Sangram brought her body in the vehicle to Bhubaneswar late in the night. “What I could gather from the CCTV footage shown by the IIC of Lingaraj Police Station, after hitting his vehicle, Sangram managed to drive it to a distance of about 50 metres. After stopping the vehicle, he was seen fleeing the area with his son,” he added.
He also said that Sangram had killed his sister as she suspected him of having numerous extra-marital affairs.

The DCP, however, refused to give further details saying it will hamper the investigation.
