New Delhi: Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has issued his latest threat. This time, the ‘target’ is Hindu temples, including Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
In a video released by the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) outfit, Pannun warned of an attack on temples on November 16 and 17.
“We will shake the foundations of Ayodhya, birthplace of the violent Hindutva ideology,” Pannun has said in the video, which is aimed at inciting violence against Hindu places of worship.
In the video, which shows images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi praying at Ram Mandir after inaugurating the newly-built temple in January, Pannun has warned Indians in Canada to stay away from Khalistani attacks on Hindu temples.
Earlier, Pannun warned people not to travel on Air India flights between November 1 and 19, saying that the period coincided with what he called the 40th anniversary of ‘1984 Sikh genocide’.
The SFJ founder has also called for violence against Indian diplomats, an attempt to spark unrest and tension within Indian and expatriate communities.
The aim of SFJ’s various anti-India activities is to promote the idea of a separate Sikh state.
Designated as a terrorist under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in July 2020, there have been multiple arrest warrants issued against him by the Indian government. But he continues to function from the USA and Canada.
