Mumbai: Tata Motors on Saturday launched a power-packed version of its Altroz hatchback.
Named Altroz i-Turbo, the car comes with a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 109 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 140 Nm @ 1,500- 5,500 rpm. Strangely, it comes with only a manual transmission.
Available in XT, XZ and XZ+ variants, the Altroz i-Turbo also gets a new Harbour Blue colour. The new car has black and light grey interior theme and perforated leatherette seats in the inside.
The infotainment system has iRA (Intelligent Real time Assist) with 27 connected car features that understand commands in English, Hindi and ‘Hinglish’.
The Altroz also gets a new Xpress Cool feature for the climate control system which chills the interiors up to 70 per cent faster.
Like the Altroz, the i-Turbo boasts of highest safety rating among hatchbacks.
