Kalinganagar: Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) has completed two major projects – five new classrooms at Hingula High School and a renovated community pond in Baragadia Gram Panchayat, Kalinganagar in Jajpur district.
The local community pond renovated by TSF improved the water resources and increased the water storage capacity to 0.41mcft. Community members of Baragadia Gram Panchayat will benefit from this project.
Besides the community pond, TSF has provided five additional classrooms at Hingula High School, Baragadia. The fully furnished classrooms aim to improve the learning levels of the students. The classrooms constructed at Baragadia will cater to over 200 students from nearby places within the Kalinganagar area. The new classrooms have been handed over to the school administration.
The facilities were inaugurated by Pritiranjan Gharai, Minister of Rural Development, Skill Development & Technical Education on Saturday.
