Tata Steel To Organise 2nd Edition Of Joda Run-A-Thon In Odisha’s Keonjhar On Nov 23

Joda (Odisha): Tata Steel’s Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) division will organise the second edition of Joda Run-a-thon 2025 on November 23 in Joda town, in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.

Themed ‘Every stride for a greener tomorrow’, the event will kick off from Central Playground, Joda at 6 am.

There will be 3 competitive race categories — 10K and 7K (for men and women), 5K (boys and girls), and one non-competitive 2K (PwDs).

The Run-a-thon, which celebrates the spirit of competition and promotes sustainability, offers a total prize pool of Rs 5.67 lakh with one sapling to be planted for every runner.

“The Joda Run-a-thon 2025 aims to bring the community together, promoting both fitness and environmental consciousness. I urge all running enthusiasts to participate and make every step count toward a sustainable tomorrow,” OMQ General Manager Atul Kumar Bhatnagar said.
