Tata Motors has updated its popular hatchback Tiago with safety features across the range to meet the upcoming safety norms.
The Tiago now gets dual airbags, rear parking sensors, a speed alert system and seat belt warning as standard on all variants of the car. ABS and EBD were available for all trims.
All cars from July 1, 2019 will be required to have a driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, speed alert and seat belt reminder systems as standard.
The price of the Tiago has been hiked by around Rs 13000 and the range starts from Rs 4.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
