Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran, during an annual general meeting, confirmed that Tata Motors will launch 4 new electric vehicles including the Nexon, Altroz, Tiago and a 4th unconfirmed model in the next 18 months.
The Nexon electric, which was spied inside the company plant a few months back, is expected to be launched sometime late next year.
Tata had earlier revealed in Geneva that the Altroz EV will have range of 250-300 km and an 80 percent charge will take 60 minutes using DC fast charger.
The current Tigor EV has an ARAI certified range of 140km and is expected to be upgraded in the near future. It is priced at ₹9.9 lakh. The Nexon EV is expected to cost more.
