Bhubaneswar: The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) officials conducted raids at various furniture showrooms across Odisha, including the twin cities, on Wednesday.
The officials conducted raids at 15 iron and wood furniture furniture showrooms in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, Balasore, Sambalpur, Rourkela, Bargarh, Bhawanipatna and Berhampur districts for non-payment or fraud in case of GST taxes.
Eight teams with more than 40 police officers are conducting the raids at 30 places, said sources.
