Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N Chandrababu Naidu tweeted on Tuesday, confirming that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was experiencing mild symptoms.
He has isolated himself at his residence at Undavalli here.
This came a day after his son and party general secretary Nara Lokesh joined the growing list of prominent political leaders who have tested positive for the virus in the state.
On Monday, Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary K Ramakrishna tested positive and he is currently undergoing treatment at NIMS in Hyderabad.
On January 14, the test results of tourism and culture minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa and Srikakulam MLA Dharmana Prasada were also found to be positive.
Civil supplies Minister Kodali Sri Venkaterswara Rao and TDP leader Vangaveeti Radha also tested positive recently.
