Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will set up a teacher cluster in the cut-off areas in Malkangiri district, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash on Saturday.
Briefing the media here after his return from Malkangiri district, he said during his visit to the cut-off areas, he found that the teachers are having difficulties in reaching their respective schools due to poor accessibility.
“Since it takes about three hours for them to reach their school, a cluster will be set up in the cut-off areas with 8-10 quarters so that they reach school in time. The cluster will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore,” he added.
