Keonjhar: A teacher of a Sevashram in Odisha’s Jajpur districts has been arrested for allegedly duping a woman to the tune of Rs 5.85 lakh on pretext of providing her a job.
The accused, Anusuya Barik, was arrested by Ghasipura police on the basis of a complaint lodged by Madhusmita Jena of Chorgadia village under Nandipada tehsil. Husband of the teacher, Rabindra Kumar Behera of Janra village under Ghasipura police limits, has absconded followed her arrest, sources said.
