Boudh: A teacher was critically injured after allegedly being shot at by two assailants in Lunibahal village of Boudh district late on Tuesday.
The victim identified as Bimal Behera sustained bullet injuries in his hand and belly. He was admitted to VIMSAR in Burla in a critical condition.
Prima facie, police attributed the attack to past enmity.
In a similar incident, a man identified as Dushmant Parida was shot at by his nephew in Paradip. The accused fled the spot soon after the incident. Parida was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
