Mumbai: Ajay Devgn announced his next action-packed venture, ‘Chauhaan’, on the birth anniversary of his late father, legendary action director Veeru Devgan.
Marking the occasion with a heartfelt tribute, the actor unveiled the film’s first teaser, offering a glimpse into the high-octane drama.
The announcement generated excitement among fans, who are eager to see Ajay return to the action genre with a project that also carries personal significance.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Ajay offered the first glimpse of his character, Chauhaan, who appears to be at the centre of a story set against the backdrop of the Kashmir conflict.
The teaser opens with a powerful monologue that refers to a dispute which has remained unresolved for more than 75 years.
As the tension builds, Ajay makes a dramatic entry, with the striking tagline: “Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai,” hinting at an intense face-off in the film.

Along with the announcement, Ajay shared a throwback video of his father from his younger days.
In the clip, Veeru recalled how he once aspired to become an actor but eventually realised it was not the path meant for him.
Veeru also spoke about his son’s future, revealing that he had always believed Ajay would one day become an actor.
Sharing the video on social media, Ajay wrote, “Remembering you with love and pride today.”
In the video, Veeru Devgn, referring to Ajay, is heard saying, “Since the day he was born, I had a feeling that he would definitely become an actor. I was also interested in becoming an actor. When I saw that I am not worthy of it, I thought let’s see what happens next. Since then I had a feeling that I should make him a hero.”
On the work front, Ajay will next be seen in ‘Drishyam 3’.
