Hyderabad: Following the tragic stampede that took place during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ the Telangana government has denied permission for the 1 am show of the Ram Charan-starrer ‘Game Changer.’
However, the state government has given permission for hike in ticket prices and additional shows of ‘Game Changer.’
‘Game Changer’ marks Ram Charan’s first solo film after 4 years and the actor shared that he feels ‘alone but welcome.’
“For the first time, I am feeling very alone right now, but also, I am feeling so much welcome. Thanks to all of you here,” said the actor.
He added, “So maalum nahi yaar, mereko bhi jaldi se jaldi karna hai movies. Maalum nahi itna der kyu hota hai (I do not really know. I also want to do movies as soon as possible. I do not know why it takes so long).”
Revealing how working with S Shankar was a “dream come true moment” for him, the actor said, “Rajamouli sir also said that he (Shankar) is the epitome of commercial films, of larger-than-life films. He has defined global cinema. He was the first pan-Indian director we had. Hats off to him. It is a blessing to work for five years with Rajamouli Garu and then Shankar Garu, it is so enriching as an actor, there is so much to learn.”
Bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, ‘Game Changer’ also stars Kiara Advani, Samuthirakani, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Sunil, Anjali and Suryah in key roles.
