Hyderabad: Days after Telugu actor Pavitra Jayaram died in a car accident, co-actor and close friend Chandrakanth, was found dead at his residence in Alkapur in Telangana.
He allegedly died by suicide on Friday.
Pavitra had died on the spot on Sunday when the car she was travelling in from Bengaluru first collided with a divider and was then hit by a car at Divitipally in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar district.
Chandrakanth was reportedly depressed after the death of Jayaram while he escaped with a few injuries, his father told police.
The actor had paid emotional tributes to his co-star with whom he was reportedly in a relationship.
The demise of both the popular daily soap actors has left the Telugu industry in shock.
