Semiliguda: At least ten persons were injured in a group clash at Malidoliamba village under Semiliguda block in Koraput district on Sunday.
Those injured in attack and stone pelting were immediately rushed to Sunabeda hospital. Two of them who sustained injuries were shifted to the district headquarters hospital for better treatment.
According to sources, the clash took place over irrigation of an agricultural land.
The situation was brought under control by police who reached the spot.
Security was tightened in the area after the clash. Adequate police forces were deployed at the spot to prevent escalation of tension in the area.
Police have launched an inquiry into the matter.
