Hong Kong: China’s gaming and social media powerhouse Tencent’s shares fell by more than 2 per cent on Thursday after India banned its popular game PUBG and 117 other mobile apps.
The market value of this drop is estimated to be around USD 14 Billion.
India banned these apps as a reaction to the standoff at the border.
PUBG had over 50 million active users in India.
