Bhadrak: Tension ran high at Basudevpur community health centre (CHC) in Bhadrak district after a patient was allegedly administered an expired saline on Tuesday.
According to available information, the family members of the patient created ruckus on the hospital premises after they came to know that an IV fluid bearing an expiry date of April 2018 was administered to the person.
Soon after the incident, the hospital staff took out the expired saline and administered another one to the patient.
However, his kin demanded an inquiry into the incident.
