Terror Attack Can’t Demoralise Security Forces: Odisha DGP

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the Thursday’s terror attack in Pulwama sector of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police (DGP) RP Sharma on Friday said such incidents can never dent the morale of security forces.

“This is an extremely unfortunate incident. As a police officer, I personally feel very sad. But let me tell you, no terror attack can ever break the morale of the armed police and central police force,” Sharma told mediapesons here.

He said such incidents will further strengthen the resolve of the security forces to launch a concerted fight against these anti-national elements.

Mourning the death of the two Odia CRPF jawans in the terror attack, the DGP echoed the sentiments expressed by senior political leaders of the country, who have maintained that the sacrifice of the CRPF jawans will never go waste.
