Terror Threat: Dawood Ibrahim’s ‘Special’ Plan To Target India Revealed

Mumbai: Fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim has formed a special unit to target India, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed.

Among those on his hit list are prominent political leaders and leading businessmen.

According to NIA, Dawood’s special unit is planning to incite violence in different parts of India using explosives and lethal weapons, the main focus being on Delhi and Mumbai.

Dawood’s brother Iqbal Kaskar was on Friday sent to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody from Thane jail till February 24.

ED recently registered a money-laundering case against Dawood and his aides, including Kaskar, for their alleged involvement in financing terror activities.

Kaskar had been arrested by Thane Police’s Anti-Extortion Cell in 2017 and remains in custody since then.
