Bhubaneswar: The State Transport Authority (STA) on Thursday informed that the test for Learner’s Licence (LL), which was suspended amid COVID-19 pandemic, will resume from November 16.
“The slots booked for LL test have been cancelled w.e.f 18.03.2020. The fee already paid for the LL test will remain valid. The LL slot booking will be available w.e.f 11 AM on 12th November 2020. Thereafter, test slots will be opened for booking from 7 AM to 10 PM every day,” it said.
The slots will be of 15 minutes duration each and include 10 minutes of test time. A candidate has to answer at least 12 questions of 20 questions correctly to pass the test.
The candidates will not be allowed inside the office more than 45 minutes prior to the slot time. They are required to wear masks and follow social distancing norms.
Applicants from containment zones and those with COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to take the test.
The date for applicants to apply for new LL will be notified later, the STA added.
