Theft Suspicion: Villagers Beat Man To Death In Odisha’s Ganjam

Aska: A man was allegedly beaten to death on suspicion of being a thief at Sunapalli area under Kabisuryanagar police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Ganga Tandi of Ranipada under Polasara police station.

As per sources, Ganga and his associate went to Sunapali around late midnight on Tuesday and were moving around suspiciously when some locals nabbed the two and thrashed them mercilessly.

While Ganga was taken to Polasara Hospital, where he succumbed his aide is undergoing treatment.

Ganga’s wife has lodged a police complaint.
