The current COVID-19 pandemic has left theatres out of bound for movie-goers as well as filmmakers. Following delays, producers are now going for digital release of their movies. Here’s the list of Bollywood movies that will soon be released on different OTT platforms.
LUDO
Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra, this Anurag Basu film is ready to stream online. Talks on talks for its release on an online platform.
LAXMMI BOMB
The Hindi horror comedy was supposed to be an EID release but the COVID-19 crisis forced the makers to postpone it. It may soon release on Disney+Hotstar. The soon-to-be-released film is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kanchana’. It stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
GULABO SITABO
Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurana-starrer ‘Gulabo sitabo’ is ready to stream on the web platform Amazon Prime on June 12.
JHUND
This Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru-starrer film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO slum soccer. It might get released on Netflix.
GUNJAN SAXENA : THE KARGIL GIRL
This biopic based on the life of the Kargil girl, Gunjan Saxena, has Jahnvi Kapoor playing the titular role and is likely to be released on Netflix.
SHAKUNTALA DEVI
Another biopic on the life of this woman better known as the ‘human calculator’, starring Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra, will soon be released on Amazon Prime video.
SHIDDAT
Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina, Diana Penty and Sunny Kaushal’s ‘Shiddat’ will also go for a digital release.
MIMI
‘Mimi’, remake of the Marathi movie ‘Mala Aai Vhhaychy!’, has Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar in the lead roles. The movie will also take the digital route and will stream on Disney+Hotstar.
KHAALI PEELI
