Bhubaneswar: Several parts of 7 districts in Odisha are likely to receive rainfall on Friday.
In an alert, the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said light to moderate rain is very likely to occur in some parts of Khurda, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Jajpur, Angul, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack districts in next three hours.
The IMD also issued yellow warning for these districts as rain would be accompanied by lightning.
It advised the people to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning.
