Cuttack: A day after Badamba IIC residing in Sector-9 of CDA tested positive for COVID-19, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation on Sunday declared 38 buildings in this sector as containment zone.
According to the official notification, the areas declared as containment zone are as follows:
South – Main road in front of Plot No D-47 to D-49
West – Road in front of D-1 to D-49
North • Ambatota road from D-1 to B-34
East -Backside of Plot No. B-35 to A-46
“To facilitate active contact tracing in the populated area, it is necessary to declare it as a containment zone and restrict the entry of public,” said CMC commissioner Ananya Das.
RESTRICTIONS
All vehicular movement, movement of public transport and personnel movement will be stopped.
All inhabitants within the containment zone will strictly remain at home.
All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature will be closed immediately.
All government and private institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone will also remain closed.
Supply of essential and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by CMC, the notification added.
