Bhubaneswar: The third phase of elections is over and 71.61 per cent people cast their vote for six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies in Odisha on April 23.
According to a release published by Election Commission of India, Bhubaneswar registered the lowest voters i.e. 59.60 per cent. Keonjhar registered the highest voter turnout of 78.16 per cent followed by Sambalpur (76.38%), Dhenkanal (74.98%), Cuttack (69.65%) and Puri (72.53%).
Out of the total 9257623 eligible voters, 6629845 cast their votes, said the release.
Notably, 3423119 male, 3206626 female voters and 100 voters belonging to other categories cast their votes.
