Cuttack: Amid Omicron scare and rise in COVID-19 cases, the coivic bodies have started reimposing micro containment zones to check the spread of coronavirus.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation on Monday declared Gopabandhu Vihar in Nua Rousapatna area of the city as micro-containment zone after six members of a family tested positive for COVID-19.
According to CMC officials the house of the family concerned has been declared micro-containment zone and all essential will be provided through a nodal officer.
Residents of the area have been asked to remain indoors and other restrictions pertaining to containment have been imposed in Gopabandhu Vihar, the sources added.
