Bhubaneswar: The renovated Ekamra Haat will reopen on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The new market for art and craftsmen will now be managed by SIDAC. Earlier, managed by IDCO, the ‘Haat’ now comes under the management of Department of Handlooms, Weaving and Handicrafts.
It has been renovated with various stalls, food courts, theaters, exhibition sheds, conference halls and visitor facilities. A total of 40 stalls have been set up at the market with 33 exhibition sheds. There are about 17 stalls for handloom products and 24 for handlooms, stated reports.
