This Assam Youth Group Worshipped Narendra Modi Before Election Results, Hailing Him Second To Swami Vivekananda

New Delhi: Narendra Modi’s party, the BJP may not have won a clear majority in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 but the country still has its share of ‘Modibhakts’.

According to News 18, a group of youths at Shivbari ED Road, Malugram, Tarapur, Silchar, Assam had even worshipped Narendra Modi before the vote counting day. They had also distributed Khichdi amongst the poor families before this important day. They said they were satisfied with Narendra Modi’s work. They felt happy feeding the poor families because as per them, their idol Narendra Modi has been doing the same as well. According to them, he is a revered person. They also compared the two-time PM (now three-time) to Swami Vivekananda. As per the boys, the Varanasi MP stands second to Swami Vivekananda, in terms of spiritual strength. They said that the present generation is proud of the current Prime Minister and was praying for his third consecutive win. One of them said that India will be on the path of development under the able leadership of Narendra Modi.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA (National Democratic Alliance) won 11 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam. However, the Congress managed to take Jorhat, a seat where Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma personally took charge of the BJP’s poll campaign. Congress candidate Gaurav Gogoi defeated sitting BJP MP Topon Kumar Gogoi.
