Mumbai: After the AIIMS panel declared that Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file an additional FIR in the actor’s death case.
Swamy also claimed that advocate Ishkaran Bhandari has been working on Dr. Sudhir Gupta’s report for the last few days and will share it with the media soon.
“Ishkaran Bhandari has worked for the past few days on the Dr. Gupta somersault. He will meet the media soon. Now CBI should do the inevitable: Register an additional FIR with murder u/s 302. Yesterday I urged as a member of the Standing Committee of Parliament on Health to examine this,” tweeted Swamy.
Swamy has been spearheading the fight for justice in the SSR case. The veteran politician and Ishkaran have held 3 online protests to seek justice for the actor.
When the SSR case was handed over to the AIIMS team for forensic investigation, Swamy had backed panel chief, Dr. Gupta, by calling him fearless.
Dr. Gupta, who apparently stated earlier that Sushant was murdered, has now declared that the actor died by suicide.
This U-turn in Gupta’s report has raised eyebrows, forcing the actor’s family and fans to demand an explanation.
