This Is What Will Happen At Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar’s Feb 19 Wedding

New Delhi: Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding will take place at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse on February 19.

Instead of a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah as rumoured before, the couple will exchange vows. The couple took the decision keeping each other’s religious backgrounds and beliefs in mind. They will have a reception for their industry friends at a later date.

Farhan’s mother, Honey Irani confirmed that the wedding will be a family affair. Only close friends and family members of the couple will attend.

The guest list, as claimed by India Today, will have names such as Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani and Rhea Chakraborty. Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan have also been invited, who are close friends of Farhan Akhtar. However, it is unclear if they would attend the event.

The bride-to-be’s friends have planned the songs and dance sequences. Rhea Chakraborty, who is a close friend of Shibani, will perform at the bride-to-be’s sangeet. Farhan will perform a special song for Shibani.
