Bhawanipatna: Taking note of the rising COVID-19 positive cases, the Kalahandi administration declared a two-day shutdown in Junagarh NAC area from Wednesday.
For active surveillance and health screening of about 19,656 people in 12 wards of the NAC, 43 health teams have been formed under the direct supervision of seven tehsildars, an official order said.
Apart from Junagarh NAC, the district administration has also declared shut Borda panchayat for seven days after two positive cases were detected from this area.
