Cuttack: The district administration on Saturday declared Nuasahi village of Patasundarpur panchayat in Niali block as a containment zone after 14 people tested positive for COVID-19 and one person died.
As announced by the Cuttack sub-collector, the containment order will remain in force from 6 am on Saturday till 6 am on January 4.
As per the order, no person will be allowed to go outside the village and no outsiders will be allowed to enter the village till further orders.
During the period, the swab test of the family members of the infected persons will be sent for test and contact tracing will be intensified.
