New Delhi: Microblogging platform X on Wednesday suffered a brief global outage, with services down for thousands of users.
The outage lasted for a few minutes, with pages failing to load on the site. Users were shown the “something went wrong, try reloading” message on the screen.
According to the outage tracking website Downdetetector.com, 915 outages were reported in India at 9.15 am. In the US, meanwhile, nearly 36,000 outages were reported at 11.15 pm ET (8.45 am IST).
The website, which tracks outages by collating status reports from several sources including users, also showed more than 3,300 reports of outages in Canada and 1,600 reports in the UK as of 11.20 pm ET (8.50 am IST).
The cause of the outage is not yet known, India Today reported.
