Mumbai: An unidentified person called up on Wednesday afternoon threatening to blow up the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and issued death threats against members of the Ambani family.
Following the call received at the Reliance hospital on the around 1 pm, a case was registered at DB Marg Police Station.
“A call was received on landline number of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital at 12.57 pm today from an unknown number in which the caller has threatened to blow up the Hospital and has issued threats in name of some members of Ambani family,” Mumbai Police confirmed.
A high-level investigation has been launched by Mumbai Police.
The Ambani family had received threats on the Reliance Hospital’s helpline number on Independence Day, when where the caller had made eight calls. Police had traced the call to Dahisar and arrested the culprit the same day.
