Baripada: Mayurbhanj district reported 14 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, including 3 corona warriors, on Sunday.
Mayurbhanj Collector Vineet Bhardwaj informed that of the new cases, 7 cases were reported from Raruan block, 4 from Tiring block and 1 each from Kuliana, Khunta and Kusumi blocks.
The collector said 10 were local contact cases, including 6 in Raruan, 2 in Tiring and 1 in Khunta while one case detected in Bhubaneswar belongs to Kusumi block.
Besides, the three corona warriors on duty belong to Tiring and Raruan blocks.
One person is a returnee from Telangana and is now in institutional quarantine.
The collector said the contact tracing of all these cases was going on.
Of the total 341 COVID-19 cases reported in this north Odisha district so far, 125 are active cases and 214 are recovered cases.
